No Yak! + Soccer Team

Sunday, July 27th 2008

Hey! I'm happy to report that I had a yakless session with Rebecca on Friday *laugh*. After that horrible experience last week, I didn't know what to expect. We pushed through compound supersets (almost) at full speed. Considering that I only had 4 hours of sleep and didn't eat breakfast that morning, I was amazed that I had the energy to power through. I did fade toward the end so we had to skip the ab work, but I made it through the major stuff.

Is it wrong to be disappointed that I wasn'...

Double Cardio... Every Day...

Thursday, July 24th 2008

"If I were overweight and I knew what I now know about fat loss, I would be doing cardio every day, possibly even twice a day, seven days a week until I was happy with my weight. Then and only then

Tuesday, July 1st 2008

I made a post on the www.burnthefatinnercircle.com back in December 2007, and every now and again, someone on the forum resurrects it. In the post, I described the bizarre psychological craving for sugar (wanting to want a sugar craving so you could get the feeling of having a craving satisfied.)

Recently, several people posted their thoughts about the book Potatoes Not Prozac, which prompted me to go to my bookshelf and pick the book up and read it again.

I posted a reply to the old t...

Avoiding the Issue?

Monday, June 30th 2008

So, I've posted two articles in my blog, but I haven't talked about what I have been doing personally.

The welcome-back to 2003 with my trainer has taken off to a slow start. To be honest, ever since I signed the check for 10 lessons, I have been sabotaging myself. It is as if when I signed that check, I tried to sign over responsibility for my health to my trainer.

Consciously I know better, but subconsciously I think I'm looking for her to "save me".

How pathetic. Reb...
