Sunday, Jul 31 2011 - Failing to plan is planning to fail, right?
View CALORIEHOLIC's food & exercise for this day
Have been tense and nervous all day about something unpleasant I must do tomorrow morning at work, but I nonetheless avoided the temptation to eat cheese and chocolate and managed to finish the day within my nutritional targets.
Had also been worrying about a trip I'm taking next weekend to visit a friend whose husband happens to be a chef who loooooooooooves cooking fattening French food. I finally called her and talked to her about my goals, and she agreed to (1) go to a healthy organic restaurant for our big night out and (2) ask him to do something healthy like salad and roasted chicken for our big night in. I also made sure that the hotel I'm staying in has a gym and healthy breakfast options, and I'll take some healthy snacks with me so that I don't get ravenous by dinner time. I feel MUCH better now that I have a plan in place.
If only the work issue were so easily addressed...
