23 Minutes, 4 laps (1.64 miles). I MADE IT UP THAT :@ING HILL! Twice, even. =D

It is so hot and slimy outside...

I am ready for it to be Friday.

Tonight is gym night. I plan to run 4.5 MPH for 50 minutes. When I start my training in two weeks, I am going to switch to weight training at the gym and my cardio will be my marathon training. I haven't done much in the weight training department since leaving Houston. I miss it. So, the plan will be to follow my training schedule of running four times a week and weight training three times a week at the gym with my family. Until then, I am going to run as much as I can on the road in the mornings and on the treadmill in the evenings. Sundays (after the long run) and Fridays (before the long run) will be rest & recovery days-no running or weight training.

I worry that wearing myself out on these freekin hills in my area will not benefit my distance training. Not that I would know. I can't run for an hour in my subdivision. I'd give myself a heart attack, I'm sure! Damn, they suck!

Before you ask, YES--I need to constantly remind myself what I am supposed to be doing for fear of losing my way during this transitional period in my life from a formerly morbidly obese woman to an athlete. :$

It brings me comfort and makes my goals seem more attainable. I need that right now; if the goals are actually attainable, or not.
