So I ate fast food last night. It upset my stomach, but the worst was how bad I felt during my personal training session this morning and how poorly my body responded. WOW...that's all I can say. That is all the evidence I need that nutrition plays a major role in the quality of your overall existence. Unbelieveable, really. Even my trainer knew something was amiss. No more fast food for me.

I've decided on the Texas half marathon on April 6th. I'm going to go back to the gym in just a little bit and try to get 3 - 4 miles in on the treadmill. I haven't trained in a year and I want to ease back into it in a way that I can monitor my speed and heartrate, at first (and it is REALLY REALLY REALLY cold outside and I am a cold whimp).

I had a "talk" (more like a fight, though) with my boss last night. I also submitted my resume to a company that I met a bunch a people from in May at a conference. I also sent my old boss an e-mail to see if they were ready to add a remote employee, yet. Might as well explore my options. We'll see what happens this week. I'm also supposed to get my review next week. Should be an interesting week. I know I am underpaid, and I know my boss knows this, too. But, I do get better benefits with this current job than I have at any other job before. We'll see...

Off to the gym (again) with myself.
