View CELAWLOR's food & exercise for this day
I had my phone interview on Friday. I finished it feeling a little less than excited about the prospect. The job was not exactly what I had in mind and the person that interviewed me was kinda surprised that my resume got sent to him. He forwarded my resume to the correct person but wanted my references, anyway. I haven't sent them to him and don't know if I will, or not. I know what I have right now, and I feel it is pretty stable, and I am worried about the economy and being in the tech industry.
We had my son's big 10 birthday party on Saturday. We had waaaaay too many people show up (who didn't RSVP) and the facility wasn't prepared for the crowd. It was very chaotic, but my boy and 12 of his "closest friends" (and their respective uninvited/unexpected siblings) had the time of his life (so far) and the facility did their best to accomodate all of us--
without attitude, I might add! The extra $18 per head was a bit hard to swallow, but I tried not to think about it for too long. LOL. It's
only money...right?
Work is really really busy this week and I've been spending too much time reading about the primary coverage. I've gotta vote for Huckabee in two weeks, even though he can't win, then begin to mentally prepare myself to be a traitor and vote for a democrat in November.

Hopefully Obama will win the nomination because I really can't get behind Clinton's "shared prosperity" campaign promise. I don't wanna share my prosperity. I work hard for it.

yes the housing prices in California are pretty nuts. wow the birthday party sounds like it was fun and chaotic. No doubt your son is happy with that.
