I got my new payment book for the mortgage in the mail while I was gone and my payments are dropping $60 per month because of smaller escrow payments. While that isn't exactly a large number, that is the first time in the 7 years that I have owned this house that it actually dropped.
We met with my son's teacher & school principal yesterday because we were considering having him repeat the 4th grade. Turns out that he really does understand stuff, he just doesn't bother to turn in ...

Oops. Sometimes I forget that not everyone shares my sense of humor.
I was wearing the Nebraska Cornhusker shirt (that my Mom gave me) to the gym this morning and some poor, innocent lady stops me and asks if I am from Nebraska. I said no, but my Mom lives there. Experiment Day 4: So I went about 100 calories over my target yesterday. But I was soooo hungry!!!
That really made a difference, though. The target on my diet days will be approx. 1200 next week. Anything lower than that is too low for me, I think. I'm happy that today is the last day. I've really enjoyed eating what little food I actually ate this week. I'll be able to make it through today with no problems, I'm sure. Experiment Day 3: Hungry before dinner and shortly before bed time yesterday. No mood problems or any other potential side effects, yet. I will not have a second cup of coffee today and see if I get the headache again, or not. Hypoglycemia seems to be in check, too.Net Yesterday: 922
