Experiment Day 4: So I went about 100 calories over my target yesterday. But I was soooo hungry!!! =D That really made a difference, though. The target on my diet days will be approx. 1200 next week. Anything lower than that is too low for me, I think. I'm happy that today is the last day. I've really enjoyed eating what little food I actually ate this week. I'll be able to make it through today with no problems, I'm sure. I was really hungry before dinner yesterday, but those extra 100 calories really held me over until this morning very well.

In three days, I lost about 5 pounds. I expect to be one or two pounds lighter tomorrow. I go to Houston on Sunday so I will be eating out for the next three days. My goal is to keep the 5 (or 7) pounds off next week while I am gone and then I will weigh in when I get home and go on my diet the remainder of the week.

My goal is to have 10 total pounds gone by next Friday. That should make the clothes feel better. I was most concerned about my hypoglycemia and mood swings during this experiment. Neither one of those things was an issue. Woohoo!!!

It is an absolutely beautiful day here today and I want to be outside sooooooo bad that I can hardly stay focused. It is going to be hard to work efficiently today. I may have to shut all the blinds/curtains/doors in order to get busy. That is a mortal sin in my house, though. I :love: the natural light.

a decade ago

I have been tempted to lock myself to my desk on some days. Shutting the blinds is not an option in my home as well.
