View CELAWLOR's food & exercise for this day

Oops. Sometimes I forget that not everyone shares my sense of humor. :angel4:

I was wearing the Nebraska Cornhusker shirt (that my Mom gave me) to the gym this morning and some poor, innocent lady stops me and asks if I am from Nebraska. I said no, but my Mom lives there. She said that she was from Nebraska and I said "Oh, I'm sorry" with a true look of pity in my face. She was obviously very hurt/surprised by my response and she told me how much she loved it there and that it was too bad I felt that way... I felt kida bad for about 18 seconds before logic pulled me out of it. LOL. Someone who "loves" living in Nebraska either isn't stable or was born in the wrong century. Every time I go there I feel like I have stepped back in a time warp...To the time when the book the Scarlet Letter was written.

I got back from Houston very early this morning. I'm exhausted. I got to have dinner and some drinks with my ONLY female friend. It was soo much fun. She is in her early 50's and has a dughter 1 - 2 years younger than me. I love her so much. We have such a wonderful friendship. It is probably almost motherly...imagine that with my woman-mother issues. LOL She called me this morning to tell me how much she loved me and wanted to make sure that I got home safe. We had some very "controvercial" discussions but it was awesome to be able to talk like that with someone (other than my husband). I wish I could find some other non-crazy women to develop friendships with...It was fun.

I think I did good with the food while I was gone. I'll check in tomorrow. I'm running on empty today because I didn't get home until almost 2:00am this morning and didn't sleep well at the hotel for some reason. Sometimes my job is too much. I just want to sleep today but I have a full day of clients to deal with. :bigeyes3: And tomorrow, too.

I thought the Scarlet Letter was set in New Hampshire? But Nebraska will do. Jobs can be nuts either way.
