Woohoo! Looks like 4 - 5 pounds gone this week. I am down 10 since I started my experiment. Sunday I leave for my annual conference in Maryland where there will be food and drink-a-plenty. I'm going to try really really hard to get up at 5:00 each day and go running so that I can keep these pounds off and still enjoy the merriment. One or two more weeks like this week and the clothes will start feeling a LOT better. I need to start training for a marathon, again, though. That was the best way to help me shave off the pounds quickly.

I feel fantastic. My confidence is through the roof and I can't wait to have a good time next week. I think I am going to start my period while I am gone and that will be a bummer. But, it will help me stay out of trouble. :evil:

So what is going through my mind today? I need to get out and make some new friends. So does Scott. Where does one go to make new friends, though? That is the question of the day.

My boss called me today to tell me that I have to work while at the conference and that it is not a vacation. Duh!!! He is very annoying, sometimes. Like I am just going to pretend that our clients don't exist while I am gone. Riiight. I think I am developing a bad case of Friday-itis.
