Tonight: The Spazmatics.

Got a group of 10 people together to go see these crazy people sing tonight. This will be my 4th time seeing this group in three different cities in Texas. We've been planning this for a month, now, and it is supposed to be raining all day off and on. This is an outdoor venue, too. Hope it doesn't rain out. We'll just take the party elsewhere, if it does. Only Steve and I have seen this band; this is everyone else's first time. They are in for a great time!

Weight still holding steady. Made it back to the gym last night for the first time in almost two weeks. If felt great, as always. I'm trying not to be too disappointed in the lack of movement on the scale. Eating out, working insane hours, and not getting to exercise is a recipe for weight gain and I need to be thankful that I am able to keep it steady. I suppose if I didn't drink while I was out traveling that I may see some downward movement...but, a girl has to have some fun when traveling.

Next week I get to grace the amazing city of Clinton, OK with my presence. They actually have a hotel, now. Bonus! I will be in Clinton Wednesday through Friday. I'm trying to schedule something for Wichita Falls, TX for Monday and Tuesday, but I can't get the client to commit. It will break up my drive, if I can. That would put me traveling seven days in a row, though, so I may want to rethink that strategy...

There is a method to my madness, though. My son starts school on the 29th and I really want to be home for the first few weeks of his new school year. I hope my strategy pans out and I just don't end up traveling MORE during those first few weeks. It could go either way, really. Hoping for the best here. Worse case is I make a huge bonus check and I only get to be home the first week of school, right?
