We were up and out of the house at 8:30 this morning. Friend got an oil change, I (finally) got my new tires, we spent waaaaaaaaaaay too much time in Wal*Mart, back home, lunch, show friend how to replace the windshield wipers on her car (and also did mine)...now: nap time.

She goes home Monday. We are going to go out tonight to a club I have not been to before to see this band called the Inflatable Love Boys that I have never seen before. Should be a good time. Tomorrow: group dinner with another friend of mine and his wife and daughter (who my son is VERY excited to meet). Then, my friends' brother flies in from the airport for an overnight stay on our sofa (odd story there) and they both pack up and leave VERY early Monday morning.

It's been very pleasant having her around, for the most part. Oddly enough, her dog is much better behaved when she is NOT here, than when she is. He seems more calm. Weird. That dog is a LOT more work than my kid ever has been. I had no idea dogs were this high maintenance.
