Does anyone else hope that the insane bailout plan doesn't pass??? It makes me sick to my stomach either way...damned if you do, damned if you don't. Which damning is better? I vote sans our $700B...

I wanted a beer last night but I didn't have one. Go me. I even reserved the calories for it.
Finally made it to the grocery store and restocked the refrigerator and the pantry--and I bought cookies. 
So, um, no leftover calories from yesterday.
Today will, undoubtedly, be better to me than the rest of the week has been. Suppose it can't really be any worse--how's that for optimism? I got an e-mail from my client that said the asset database had been restored and her 2008 assets are all there. Now it is my turn to re-do the work I have already done twice. That is so NOT productive. Ah well. Can't change it now.
Can anybody else hardly believe it is OCTOBER? It's the beginning of the last quarter of the year. What happened to 2008???

Good on resisting the beer. I didn't do well last night but am back again. The bailout bothers me. Give the $700B to projects that translate into jobs and improved infrastructure. sigh.
