How low will the stock market go before it reaches its final low??? That could be a fun game to play. I'm "betting" somewhere in the 6-7K range...that would be a 50% drop since it's peak. Not that it matters to me. All of my money has been in CD's for a couple of years now. But, it will matter to me because of the toll it will take on the whole economy.

OMG! They are talking about Ford and GM collapsing now. That is just crazy. It'll be good, though, because the unions have been crippling the US auto industry (and plenty of other US industries) for decades now. Wow, I am just in shock...

I am VERY bloated today. My weigh in is on Fridays and I am NOT going to record that number that smacked me in the face this morning. To.Hell.With.That!

So I am lamenting that I would have been getting new carpeting ordered today, had this past couple weeks economic events not taken place. I worked so hard this past quarter and I was really looking forward to finally getting the carpeting replaced. It feels like I worked all those loooong hours for nothing, now. Some pseudo-retail therapy is in order, I believe. The kiddo needs some new clothes. Although I dislike shopping, we usually have a good time together when we have to do it.
