View CELAWLOR's food & exercise for this day

I  fall and being able to keep the windows open for days/weeks at a time.

I finally got my lazy/tired @ss outa bed this morning and out for a walk (after yet another 10 hour sleep-marathon). 35 minutes and it was invigorating. I'm not going to start running again until I meet my walking goal for two weeks. That is my reward for not being lazy (or sick, but I'd rather pretend I am just being lazy and there is nothing wrong with me).

This morning we had fresh blueberry muffins and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Yum! We have eaten every meal at home for something like 10 days in a row, now. I don't even know how long it has been since we did that. I know it is somewhere in the "years" category. Wow. And the boy and I are having a great time cooking together, too.

It's amazing how little I am even using my car, anymore. If my kiddo had a functional leg, it would go six or seven days without even being started. As it is, though, the school is right behind our subdivision and he can walk it in under five minutes with a healthy leg. I bet I waste more gas idling in the carpool line than it actually takes in gas to get there and back. Oh well. Such is life. I haven't had to buy gas in two weeks, though. That has to be some sort of personal record.

OMG...speaking of the boy. His poor foot!!! Not only were there blisters on top of blisters, but he seems to have also developed a pretty severe foot fungus. I am not knowledgeable in these things, but as best I can tell it seems to be athletes foot. I bought some high-dollar spray (because I wasn't about to TOUCH it while applying a cream) and I can't really tell if it is working, or not. Poor, poor baby! :cry2: I guess the bright side of this is that the blisters do not appear to be infected. Just pretty severe.
