Wow. The boy and I were out for something like 9 hours today. Lots of shopping. An absolutely HORRIBLE lunch/dinner at Appleby's (I now remember why I haven't eaten there in over 6 years) that made both the boy and I have stomach issues the rest of the day, even though we really didn't eat much of the food. We caught Beverly Hills Chihuahua because his foot needed a rest and it was shorter than High School Musical 3--and was the lesser of the two evils in my book. I spent too much (not enough?) time in the restroom during the "movie" so it worked out well.

Also made a trip to Party City for the Halloween costume. What a mess that place is. Won't be doing that any time again, soon. All of the packaged costumes he wanted were sold out so I told him to get creative with what was left in the isles. And that he did. 45 minutes later, with very little coaching from me, he came out with the makings for a "Wizard Executioner." We spent more than I wanted, but the bulk of what he spent money on was a floor-length velvet cloak and this really large staff/arrow thingy. My mom made him a very nice cape when he was 3 or 4 and he STILL uses that thing today, even though it is quite short on him now. So, I felt like spending $25 on a new cloak was a safe investment because he will play with it for a couple more years, probably. Same with the staff...he'll get some milage out of both of those items.

Linens N Things is going out of business. All of them--the entire corporation is closing down. So we popped in there and I got a couple of items we've needed and got a 20% store closing discount.

I'm not even going to take a stab at logging today. I'm sure I did fine, anyway. I am very thirsty because I have been away from my water all day. Other than that, not much to say, note, or babble about.
