I WON!
I beat the camera. Neener-neener. I did, however, read through some of the manual afterwards so that I could see what I bought. Truth be told, I didn't do a bit of research on this camera before I bought it. It was a total gut-instinct thing. It's pretty cool, though. There are additional lenses you can buy for it for close-ups, wide angle shots and distance. That makes me pretty excited. Photography used to be my only hobby. I believe it can be revived, now.

I sold some furniture yesterday and my Dad helped me to deliver it. I found out why he was less than thrilled about the baby news, too. He had no problems "lecturing" me in the car during the whole trip.
I developed toxemia/pre-eclampsia with my son and they had to induce my labor five weeks early. He was in the NICU for five days. Dad said he didn't understand why I would want to go through this again since "it almost killed me last time." That is not true. It COUL...

Would anyone think any less of me if I admitted that I just bought my very FIRST digital camera?There were some pretty awesome deals to be found today. I got the boy outa bed at 5:30 this morning to go shopping with me. We didn't need to get very many things, but one of the things we needed to get was a winter coat for him. Done. It's possible that the initial sock and awe has subsided.
We decided to tell the family today. Everyone is so happy, excited and.....well, surprised. My son was the happiest. He's practically beside himself. His reaction to the pregnancy is absolutely priceless. My Dad was the only person that didn't express any outward positive reaction. I have not gotten any noteworthy sleep since 3 AM Tuesday morning. I've got no friggin' clue what's going on. I'm so not stressed about anything.
