View CELAWLOR's food & exercise for this day

It's possible that the initial sock and awe has subsided. We decided to tell the family today. Everyone is so happy, excited and.....well, surprised. =D My son was the happiest. He's practically beside himself. His reaction to the pregnancy is absolutely priceless. My Dad was the only person that didn't express any outward positive reaction. He asked about how this will affect my job, and other similar-type questions. :laugh5: Ah well, gotta love him anyway!

I had forgotten, in all the years it's been since I've been pregnant, exactly how horrible the "breast tenderness" is. Ugh! Breast tenderness is certainly NOT the label I would have picked for this particular symptom.

Wow. So much going through my brain. But, the first order of business is weaning myself off of my morning coffee and finding some quality pre-natal vitamins! My plan is to have just one "cup" of coffee for the next three days, then 1/2 cup for the following three days...then nada. Also gotta put my exercising back at the top of the priority list!

Bye-bye party-girl. It was fun while it lasted. We made some excellent memories together and had so much fun. I'll never regret (or forget) the times we spent together, and the people we met and partied with.

Thanksgiving dinner was very nice. Dad and I spent the whole afternoon in the kitchen together. I wasn't able to eat very much because of the nausea, but that is a very good thing. What I did eat is just sitting in my stomach like lead, anyway. It was so nice to spend time with my Dad, again. I've really missed him.

This working seven days a week business is really taking a toll on him. His wife really needs to acquire some sort of marketable skill so that the poor guy can get a job that is not so hard on his broken-down body. I've got it figured out, though. LOL When he just CAN'T do his job anymore, his wife will leave him because he can no longer be the sugar-daddy. He'll sell his house. We'll buy either a larger house with dual-masters or a similar sized house with a guest house that he can live in. Hubby and I got it all figured out...

Wow, congratulations on the pregnancy. I can imagine the joy you are going to have with this baby. I bet your son is just bouncing around. He is going to be an older brother. Do you have a "due" date? Love and joy to you and yours. Judy
