10 Days of work left before vacation! Woooooooohooooooo!

Nothing incredibly interesting going on. I think we are going to rearrange the bedroom so that I can bring my beloved chaise in there. We found my dear, sweet Prince Charming a recliner and we're going to go pick it up tonight. I also found a chair that is very complimentary to the recliner we are getting for him, but the seller wants too much $$$ for it. I offered $150 less than what they are asking if they couldn't find anyone else to buy it. So, now we wait. That method has always served me well when buying "pre-owned" merchandise. The seller ALWAYS comes back the next day and takes me up on my offer. Better a guaranteed sale than wishful thinking, right? Especially at Christmas and with this economy. I craigslist. I'm excited about changing up the house a little. It's been the same for two years now. And, I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't enjoying scouring the internet for nice, gently-used furniture and haggling with people...

I still didn't figure out what size batteries my scale takes so it is still dead. Need to do that. Also, Office Depot showed up this morning with that monitor that I ordered online over Thanksgiving that customer service told me they wouldn't be able to deliver because there were no more in stock and it had been discontinued. I had already found another one and have been using it for a couple of days. Now I have an extra monitor. Damned Office Depot. I sent my boss an e-mail asking if he would buy it for me to use with my laptop. It really was a great deal so I hate to return it. I hope he just reimburses me for it. Everyone else gets two monitors so I should be allowed to have "a" monitor. Seriously, though...how often are you going to find a 22" widescreen monitor for $129?
