The neighbor cat drama and the friend's psycho-wife drama just will NOT go away. It has become less bothersome, but it's not gone, yet. My friend and I are forced to have a "secret" friendship. I'm really not sure if it can get any more juvenile, but it is both funny and sad at the same time. He's convinced me that things will settle down and I really do like him and his kiddo's. My hubby and kiddo likes them all, too. So, I am participating (for now) in hopes he is right. If I'm going to invest the emotional energy into a "secret" relationship, there better damn well be some hot sex and life-changing risk involved! Not just a friend...

Anyhoo, everything else is just sunshine and daisies over here. Could be worse!

Oh--my cat bit me (almost to the point of drawing blood) and hissed at me this morning. That was the most bizarre thing I have ever seen her do. WTF? She's totally an inside cat, is spayed and is current on all her shots so I am so very puzzled by this. Then she went right back to behaving like her normal self about a minute later. Any of you cat owners out there have any insight into that little gem?

I had to go in search of new perfume today. The last bottle I had of Ellen Tracy is finally gone and they quit making it, um...a very long time ago. It is overwhelming for me to find a new perfume and I have been using precious little of my Ellen Tracy in order to make it last longer and put off the ineviable. Isn't that a ridiculous thing to say? LOL Me...the person who likes to take on the world...is overwhelmed by finding a perfume. I lucked out, though. I got this lady at the perfume counter at Dillards who knew EVERY perfume out there by scent and I told her I wanted something that has been around a while, one that wasn't likely to be discontinued soon, and a little on the sweeter/floral side. Between her and my Prince Charming, we settled on Romance by Ralph Lauren. She said it has been around for 13 years. Here's hoping it will make it another 13!!!
