I can't believe that I only have 5 1/2 months until the new addition to my family is estimated to arrive. My, how time flies! My boy is supposed to be home sometime this weekend, maybe Monday? My Mom and her boyfriend will be staying for a few days when they bring him home. We no longer have a spare room as it is getting converted into a nursery so they will have to sleep in my son's room. He will NOT be happy when I tell him that. He misses his room and his bed when he is gone, but we don't have any other options. I do not have any vacation that is available since we are planning a trip to Florida over Thanksgiving, so it will be interesting to see how all that goes. I'm thinking that they should cut the visit short and go home and enjoy some R and R after getting rid of my kiddo.

My boy will be starting football when he returns and it will be a rush to get football stuff and make it to practices, then a rush to get school shopping done, then a rush to get ready for the holiday season then baby will be here. Oy. Is it really going to be like that???

We decided to get a membership to Costco. We had Sam's a while back but quit going and let the membership lapse. I've heard that Costco has better quality stuff and I like what I've seen, so far. We went tonight and got started in the bulk-buying routine. I forget how easy it is to drop $200 there. I know it's cheaper in the long-run but getting started sure is painful. We're going to try real hard to ease into it...which will include cleaning out the chest freezer in the garage and seeing if it still works after three years of no use. If not, I'm sure I've already gotten my money's worth outa the thing.
