Sooooo..I am back from the land of swine flu.
Everyone else I know was more worried about me, than I was. I didn't even bother to go to the damned doctor and I can't tell you how many people thought I was endangering my life by not going. 
I promise not to get up on my soap box and go bashing certain entities.

Another prenatal visit is now behind me. I seemed to have *LOST* weight the last month.
I'm not complaining, seriously. I gained 80 pounds during my last pregnancy so it is a pleasant surprise that I am not having the runaway weight gain issues this time. However, they are being conservative and are going to have me get a few more ultrasounds just to make sure that the baby is growing properly. 
Who would turn down a couple of extra times to see their little baby in-utero, right?Eve...

So I am not one who usually goes around bashing the government and media in a public forum, but I just *have* to throw this out there.My kiddo was diagnosed with the swine flu on Monday. They don't usually test for the actual swine flu strain, but since I am pregnant, they did, so I can say with 100% certainty that he has it. My son has swine flu, according to the lovely doctor.
I am 5 1/2 months pregnant. Ugh! I spent almost all day with him in my bed yesterday. He just wanted me to be next to him, he felt so bad. The doctor was more concerned about me, than him, and told me to stay away from him until he was better. That is almost impossible.
