I feel good!!!
I'm a bit miffed that I have been depriving my body of stuff it needs so badly and I sincerely hope there are no negative effects from too little glucose to the baby. Hopefully, she has gotten all that she's needed and I've gone without! If the midwives say anything else to me about limiting my carb intake, they are all fired.
Easy.
I was trying to install XP on it (had Vista), but no one could locate the disk. My boss had just got the Windows 7 CD in the mail and asked me if I was up for being the guinea pig. Sure, sign me up!
I've heard nothing but bad things about Vista, and always had trouble with client machines running Vista, so I didn't want to mess with Vista on my own machine. I've heard good stuff about Windows 7, so I decided to take the chance. None of the software that we use has been certified for 7, yet. But so far, so good. I've had a few issues, but nothing I couldn't find a way to work around. The publishers of the applications that we sell and support will have some work to do to get this stuff working well in 7, though. But, it works and I am happy with it all, so far. We have a few clients who like to be on the bleeding edge of technology and it will be nice to tell them "Yes, go ahead and use 7," for a change!
The client has been dragging their feet on this project for 18 months now, so what is another few more, right? I really hope they decide to postpone it a bit longer. Then it will be too late and they will HAVE to either do it remotely or wait until next year.

So glad that you are feeling better and have gone back to your diet. I am using Windows 2007 and that is working out just fine for me. A few hiccups but not as many as I expected. Take care and keep us posted.
