View CELAWLOR's food & exercise for this day

I'm still feeling pretty amazing, except for the pregnancy aches and pains. :thumbu2:

I am still working out some issues with Windows 7 and the business applications that I use. It's really not bad and I have had a little bit of time to "play" with a couple of new features in Windows. So far, so good, and just one minor application that I use isn't installing. The developer says it should install, but it's not, and they are trying to figure out why. I want to upgrade my Mac OS to Snow Leopard sometime soon, but I haven't had the time to even think about it!

Someone hit me yesterday. It was a very minor accident which, unfortunately, means it's going to be a huge inconvenience. Some guy (whom I'm assuming was on the cell phone because that is the ONLY reason I can think of that he couldn't see me) decided that he wanted to be in the same part of the lane as I was in--and didn't bother to signal, to boot. So he did a little bit of a sideswipe on my rear passenger side. My front bumper (fender?) was even with his driver-side mirror when he hit me so I am pretty clueless as to why he didn't see my big ol' car...right there next to his face...or hear me laying on my horn. But, ah well. The damage is under $1K. :dead2: And I am going to be stuck in a friggin' rental car when they take mine in to fix it. I highly doubt they will give me a car equivalent in size to mine, but I will pitch a fit being all pregnant if I cannot get us comfortably in and out of the damned thing. Not looking forward to that. :devious:

The football season is over and the boys will have at least one playoff game (most likely two). They won't make it very far in the playoff's and all of us parents (sadly?) are hoping we lose the first game 'cuz we are all burned out and know we can't win, anyway. Football has consumed 5 days a week of our non-working hours since mid July and we're all ready to be done with it. Not to mention the holidays being right around the corner.

I have a regular ultrasound to check on the baby's growth on Thrusday, a prenatal appointment on Friday (hopefully there will be no firing of the midwives involved) in which I get to take the gestational diabetes screening test (icky), my regular dental cleaning on Friday and a 3D/4D ultrasound (for fun, only) on Saturday morning and a football game Saturday afternoon. I'm very excited to see my little girl's features in 3D. =D We are all three going and I have invited my Dad and his worthless wife to join us. Then we are going to have pizza afterwards and off to football playoffs for who-knows-how-long. :n:

My friend with the psycho wife is going to bring his little boy over here on Sunday, and take mine. I'm looking forward to getting to spend the day with him. He's taking a whole SUV full of people (including the wife) to an air show and his little 5 year old would not enjoy it, so we're swapping children. My Prince Charming told me that he had been (pleasantly) chatting with the psycho wife on the internet off and on over the last couple months. I was surprised by that, but it really does sound like she is making a concerted effort to redeem herself. I told my friend that I would not consider attempting to repair the relationship with her until after I had the baby, but that I would try again next year. I don't hold grudges, but I am sure not ready to go gung-ho back into her (drama filled) life. Baby steps. She was completely civil during the birthday party in August (well, aside from the comment about my not looking pregnant) and has not *tried* to be my friend, since. I also know that my friend is "allowed" to talk to me, now, and he doesn't have to hide it. He's talked to me on the phone and I've heard her in the background. All very good signs, but my health and family come first. :smile1:

So, that's all that's new over here. I miss running--very badly. The day after I get this little trouble-maker outta me, I'm on the phone with the orthopedist/podiatrist to get me fixed up!!!

No need to engage communication with a crazy person if you don't have to. Sorry to hear about your car.
