Wow, what a totally crazy and unexpected labor! The good stuff: Leah Nicole Lawlor was born at 7:20 pm on Friday weighing 8 lbs. 10 oz., 21 in. long and 14 in. head. :inlove1: And here is a picture from today (more will follow later,of course). --->

The "natural induction" didn't work out as planned. When we got in to the birth center Friday morning, I was already 5 cm dilated, completely effaced, -2 station and her head was firmly engaged against my cervix. No contractions. The ...

I've *got* to get my head "in the game!" I told Prince Charming this morning that I hope the induction attempt fails tomorrow. After all, I technically have until Tuesday until I reach that post-mature status. I believe that the mind is a powerful thing and I really need to get that whole mind-body-universe connection thingy going before 9:30 tomorrow morning!!! :cross2: I haven't done any real, focused meditation for a while but I think it would be a good idea to spend some quiet time to...

Average fluid for this stage of pregnancy is 11 and mine was 18 (93rd percentile)...woohoo. Yay, no need to induce, or even to think about it. =D

Honestly, I really think I'd be upset to have waited all this time in order to have a natural, spontaneous labor, only to have to be induced at the...

It's bronchitis! :sad2: In lieu of a baby, I get antibiotics and Mucinex. :n: You know, it'd be just my luck (although I don't really believe in luck) that I'd go into labor feeling this, um, wonderful! I went in to the birth center today and the midwife told me that I can't go into labor for a couple of days. :cross2: Like I have ANY control over that one! So for the first time in over a month, I am hoping like hell that I DON'T go into labor over the next 48 hours, or so. Ugh!!! 42 weeks, here I come! ...
