I think I am getting close!

&
Yesterday, I started having somewhat regular contractions about 45 minutes apart and went to bed with them about 35 minutes apart. Slept like a rock, too!!! That hasn't happened in months. Today, started off at 30 minutes apart and they are sitting at about 15 - 20 minutes apart now and are a little more intense (and some other way TMI and gross stuff that those of you who have had babies probably know about...I will spare the rest of you the details).
I'm getting very excited, but know that I could still be days (maybe even weeks) away...at least there is tangible, quantifiable progress! Timing contractions gives me something to do since my blood pressure is no longer an issue. The contractions are interesting, anyway (for now).
I went on a quazi-tirade yesterday and today about the house. It HAD to be cleaned, organized and Christmas GONE. I'm pretty sure both my son and husband are eager for the normal me to return.

I've come to deeply appreciate the fact that my husband and I had 5 years to cement our relationship before I turned into this raging, hormonal pregnant wilder-beast. It must be extraordinarily difficult for newlywed's to go through pregnancy! I'll definitely be advocating for my children to wait a few years, once they get married, to start a family (if it happens in that order, that is

). And I have ALWAYS considered myself an extremely level-headed and unemotional type, to boot. Scary to think how much worse this all would have been if I was the unstable, emotional type!!!

You slept like a rock? I am amazed, absolutely! Enjoy! I am a snark about the house (and I have never gotten any better) I can't say hormones are at fault

Hormonal pregnant wilder-beast sounds about normal to me. You'll be glad to bring the baby home to a clean and organized house. Enjoy it because it won't last long. Sorry you're hurting but it's all going to be worth it.
