Why do people think that when they ask me "when are you going to have that baby" that I will actually be able to answer? Ugh! I'm pretty sure my mother and my client of 10 years (who is almost like a second Mom) are the worst offenders!!! It's so hard to be civil when answering that question, sometimes.

Prince Charming and I are pondering asking the midwife to do some of their tricks to help bring labor. I didn't sleep last night because of the contractions and I don't see that getting any better. I'm sooooo tired. If they think I am a good candidate for it, we're thinking of doing it on Friday. I made the mistake of telling this to my Mom (who is stuck in the horrible weather in the Midwest) and she wants to come out Thursday. That it so not going to work for me. I don't want her to even leave her house until the baby is born. If I don't get any sleep between now and Friday, there is no way I will be able to tolerate them right after I give birth. I'll need a few hours of sleep to recover a bit before being able to deal with a crying mother and crying baby.

The various Mom-types were betting that I would have the baby within a week of my contractions starting. That week will be up on Thursday...which is like two days from now. I'm not feeling very hopeful at the moment.
