I think I dislocated/pulled a rib near my left shoulder blade.

Can you say OW-EEEEEEEE!?!?! It hurts to breathe. I'm going to call the chiropractor tomorrow morning and see if he can help a big ol' manatee-shaped, 9-months-pregnant woman! Maybe he can help with the pelvic and tailbone pain while I am there (between contractions, of course)! It hurts to breathe.

Did I mention that part?
I'm sad that it's about to be Monday, again, and I am still pregnant....

Aaaaah! What a difference a day can make. Had an excellent visit with the midwife today and I slept decently last night. We decided to try to help the baby out next Wednesday if she doesn't come before then on her own.
My mother (once again) put me through the wringer regarding the safety of giving birth outside a friggin' hospital without an obstetrician. Sometimes, I really wish it was possible to adopt your parents. I'm a horrible daughter and I know it. Worse: I don't care. I ...

Why do people think that when they ask me "when are you going to have that baby" that I will actually be able to answer?

Ugh! I'm pretty sure my mother and my client of 10 years (who is almost like a second Mom) are the worst offenders!!! It's so hard to be civil when answering that question, sometimes.
Prince Charming and I are pondering asking the midwife to do some of their tricks to help bring labor. I didn't sleep last night because of the contractions and I don't see ...

I think I am getting close!

Yesterday, I started having somewhat regular contractions about 45 minutes apart and went to bed with them about 35 minutes apart. Slept like a rock, too!!! That hasn't happened in months. Today, started off at 30 minutes apart and they are sitting at about 15 - 20 minutes apart now and are a little more intense (and some other way TMI and gross stuff that those of you who have had babies probably know about...I will spare the rest of you the details...
