View CELAWLOR's food & exercise for this day
5 days old today! This is what I call the "milk coma" --->
We took the baby out for a walk in her stroller yesterday since it was really nice out. That was also the first thing resembling exercise I have done since around May, I think, because of all the bed rest and problems with plantar fasciitis in my foot. We walked around the perimeter of our subdivision, which I believe is less than a mile. It almost did me in, but it also felt good. I'm very very sad at how out of shape I am, now. It will probably be about six months before I can even *think* about running, again. My lower back, pelvic area and lower abdominal muscles were screaming at me the whole time, and I really did take it fairly slow! I feel like I did a billion crunches last night! Ugh!!! This will definitely be a MUCH slower process than I had ever thought possible. But, she's sooooooo worth it!!!

She is precious! Mine is 3 months old and I already miss that first week of newborn-ness.
 Hang in there. I started from ground zero after the birth of my first after already completing 2 full marathons. It works out just fine. I started running until I couldn't and then walking a few minutes and then running some more, etc.... and I am starting up again doing exactly the same thing this time. You are doing better than me- I didn't take a significant walk until she was 2 months old.
