My life has consisted of the very basics of human existence (eat, sleep, the occasional shower) and holding that cranky baby and non-stop nursing! She's a champ at sleeping at night but absolutely will not sleep well during the day and just wears herself out and gets way too over stimulated and grumpy. Not to mention that I have figured out that my dairy consumption causes her additional grief. Oh, the joys of having a newborn. The only way I can get her to sleep during the day is with her on my chest so she can hear my heartbeat and smell me. And then she wakes up as soon as I try to put her down. I'm told some babies just don't like to sleep and they end up being the "Type-A" types. I definitely fit into that category so I suppose she comes by it honestly.

Not too much tome to spare, got to go eat.
