View CELAWLOR's food & exercise for this day

I have high expectations of myself. I'm sure this will come as no surprise to any of you that have been reading my blatherings for any length of time. I have NOT been able to make it out the door to exercise since Sunday and I have found that it has put me into a fairly cranky mood today. :devil7: Little one is not cooperating with my plans. I know that is part of the package, but still...I'm bothered by it. Seems as though trying to nurse/care for the baby, pump the milk, exercise, shower, dress, eat and have coffee with my hubby is just too much in the mornings. :cross2: Whoda thunk it!?

As great as Monday went for me working at home and hubby caring for baby, Tuesday went equally as BAD. :n: Today...not too sure, yet. :sad2: One thing is very certain, though: I MUST have a closed-in office. This house arrangement is not going to work for us, anymore. We have plans to refinance the mortgage as soon as I get my first paycheck. The credit union said that we could get the ball rolling as soon as that happens. We're trying to get PMI dropped, as I got an FHA loan when I bought this house, and I'd like to NOT have escrow payments, anymore. I can save my own money (and collect the interest) thankyouverymuch!!! Depending on what the appraisal comes in at, we may have to bring some moeny to closing.

Immediately after that, we'll have to figure out what to do with the house/office situation. I have some ideas, but not sure how much they will cost. I really don't want to close my house up. It's very open. I'm thinking about getting some custom sliding glass doors made that will allow us to keep the light (and air) flowing. If that is just too expensive, walls will have to go up. :cry2:

Back to work...

It really takes A LOT of TIME to be a mom. I think it is tougher than dieting :laugh5: . Take care, remember to rest, you are still at the beginning and soon some of the hormones are going to crash, then it gets a bit tougher, and then A LOT better again. :heart1:

do you have room in your yard for a cute little office/shed structure? I have a friend who managed her office in that fashion. It is small but it lessened the work/home conflict. hang in there. And your high expectations are what make you successful but also a little :cross2:
