Is it already the end of November? :dead2: Little man turned the big 3 months old yesterday. He "celebrated" by screaming his head off from 6 - 8 pm. He and I went to Walmart last night at 7. I put him in the sling and he was out like a light, after about 5 minutes of screaming in the cart area. Ugh. I'll be happy when this phase is over. He is the happiest baby except for 6 - 8 pm. Every.Single.Night. And I am not joking when I say he stops being screamy at 8 pm, on the dot. Weird, but true...

I love my job and I am convinced that I work for the best company! I sit and wonder sometimes how much of success in life is hard work, risk taking, luck, karma or just the random chaos of existence. Since I had absolutely nothing to lose when I interviewed, I shot for the moon and got it with no qualms, questions or negotiating. They are beyond thrilled with what I have been able to accomplish and I am extremely happy with my employment. And, for the first time in my life, I am actually looking...

I am making some progress in cleaning up the diet--both quality and quantity. While "cold turkey" (geez, I wonder about the roots of that little colloquialism) usually works best for me, I am easing into it because of the breastfeeding. I've found that if I don't eat frequently, then catching up usually spans about three days, involves entire bags of cookies and chips, and inevitable weight/water gain. The body can be a crazy thing when it involves growing babies!

Our little man (and the last baby that is ever going to come out of my uterus) is 10 weeks old! His name is Cameron Blake and he was born 4 weeks early at 8 lb 15 oz, 21 in. long. It was a horribly traumatic "birth" experience that lasted 31 hours and ended in a c-section. A far, far cry from the 80-minute hippie birth of my daughter (who is going to be two in January)!
