View CELAWLOR's food & exercise for this day
It seems like everyone at work is on vacation. I am still the new girl and rely on my peers to a pretty high degree to help me find things and get things deployed. Ugh. I don't have any more deadlines this year, but I'd like to get something done this week! I feel bad not being productive.
We've all been sick here for almost two weeks. My daughter has got it bad, though. Poor baby. She just went back to the doctor yesterday and they gave her a shot of antibiotics because the first round didn't seem to do a bit of good. She was better a few hours later. I have the option of getting her a shot for three days or fighting with liquid antibiotic for ten and I am very much leaning towards the shot!!! It is so nice to see her not sick.
In case none of you are aware, the housing market sucks--even for buyers! And my realtor sucks, too. My realtor's wife is a VERY close friend of mine and she keeps asking me if her hubs is helping me (she is a broker) and I just can't tell her no! I know she will have his head on a plate and I don't want to do that to him.

He hasn't responded to my e-mail from October...that I have re-sent to him three times since. He's even said that he received it and needs to respond. We're trying to decide if we should build, or not, and he is just not helping us. I'd like to believe that if I were a realtor in today's market that my potential buyers would be so sick of hearing from me all the damn time! Geez!!! I sent her a very carefully worded e-mail this morning asking if maybe I needed a more local realtor, as she specializes in high-end homes 40 miles from me. I have been her accountant for 11 years (his since they've been married) and she sold my house last year. I won't use anyone else without her full blessing...but, damn I need a response!
I go to my 3-month postpartum appointment today, albeit a bit late.

I am curious to know where I stand on the weight front. I am going to use that as my new start weight. Little man is getting weaned from the breast the first week of January and I will start to watch what I eat more closely, then. I only plan to weigh myself once a month and am hoping for just a gradual shedding of the weight until after we get moved and my new office/traveling routine gets established. About 4 - 5 pounds a month will be good until the summer, I think. All of the clothes I just purchased are comfortably snug. LOL They should still fit alright even after I've lost 20 or 30 pounds. And I'd like to be about 30 pounds lighter come this time next year. Nothing too aggressive. I want to keep this damned weight off.
