24 Hours!!!
I have been having strong, USELESS contractions, 5 minutes apart--for 24 FRIGGIN' HOURS! They aren't doing anything other than annoying me (and forcing me to stop whatever I am doing). 
I made some progress yesterday, when they were 15 minutes apart, but none since they got closer together.

I feel great, excellent, wonderful, amazing, etc., etc.
Yes, I am still pregnant and will be at 40 weeks tomorrow. But, I don't care.

I think I dislocated/pulled a rib near my left shoulder blade. Can you say OW-EEEEEEEE!?!?! It hurts to breathe. I'm going to call the chiropractor tomorrow morning and see if he can help a big ol' manatee-shaped, 9-months-pregnant woman! Maybe he can help with the pelvic and tailbone pain while I am there (between contractions, of course)! It hurts to breathe. Did I mention that part? 
I'm sad that it's about to be Monday, again, and I am still pregnant....

Aaaaah! What a difference a day can make. Had an excellent visit with the midwife today and I slept decently last night. We decided to try to help the baby out next Wednesday if she doesn't come before then on her own.
My mother (once again) put me through the wringer regarding the safety of giving birth outside a friggin' hospital without an obstetrician. Sometimes, I really wish it was possible to adopt your parents. I'm a horrible daughter and I know it. Worse: I don't care. I ...

Why do people think that when they ask me "when are you going to have that baby" that I will actually be able to answer?
Ugh! I'm pretty sure my mother and my client of 10 years (who is almost like a second Mom) are the worst offenders!!!
