So I renewed my membership for another year. I had mixed feeling about it, but decided that I would make my decision next year.I have less than 8 hours of work left before vacation and I have a loooooong list of honey-do's I've created for myself to get done over the next 11 days. I didn't realize how much I had to do around this place.
Is anyone else amazed at how quickly they spend money? I added up our income for the year in my head this morning and it was appalling to me how...

I have a lot going on right now. Four work days until I am on vacation. I am really looking forward to the time away from the job. I am pondering actually turning off my laptop and packing it in the computer bag, along with my day runner. Since I work from home, I don't know what else to do to emotionally separate myself from it, so I think I will pack all traces of it up until the new year. And I REALLY need the separation.I've got lots of little personal projects lined up to occupy ...

9 Days of work left for 2008. My boss ended up approving the reimbursement of that second monitor that I have. That is awesome. It is great to have so much more additional screen space! It blocks a significant portion of my view outside, but I will adjust. Did I mention how much I am looking forward to my vacation???Hubby got his recliner last night. He was soooo excited and he was so cute about the whole thing.

10 Days of work left before vacation! Woooooooohooooooo!
Nothing incredibly interesting going on. I think we are going to rearrange the bedroom so that I can bring my beloved chaise in there. We found my dear, sweet Prince Charming a recliner and we're going to go pick it up tonight. I also found a chair that is very complimentary to the recliner we are getting for him, but the seller wants too much $$$ for it. I offered $150 less than what they are asking if they couldn't find anyo...

It has been a busy few days. I leave for Odessa this afternoon--hopefully for the very last time (for this project, anyway). Looks like Wichita Falls is on tap for the following week. THEN vacation!!!We finally bought a new TV stand for the new, fancy TV we bought at the beginning of the year. It took me FOREVER to find something that I liked and then, when I did find it, it was online and they wanted $100 for shipping.
I just so happened to be looking through all of the sales ads ...
