Would anyone think any less of me if I admitted that I just bought my very FIRST digital camera?
There were some pretty awesome deals to be found today. I got the boy outa bed at 5:30 this morning to go shopping with me. We didn't need to get very many things, but one of the things we needed to get was a winter coat for him. Done. And I got my digital camera, and a free all-in-printer/fax/copier/scanner, a free jacket with the purchase of the camera (WTF???--Oh well, we'll find some ...

It's possible that the initial sock and awe has subsided.
We decided to tell the family today. Everyone is so happy, excited and.....well, surprised. 
My son was the happiest. He's practically beside himself. His reaction to the pregnancy is absolutely priceless. My Dad was the only person that didn't express any outward positive reaction. I have not gotten any noteworthy sleep since 3 AM Tuesday morning. I've got no friggin' clue what's going on. I'm so not stressed about anything. This weekend was productive and relaxing. After we got the house all cleaned up on Saturday, I spent the evening in the family room, with a nice fire in the fireplace. I don't spend very much time in there, usually, because that ends up being my son's playroom and I get frustrated when I go in there to try to sit and I can't even get to the sofa...and, if I can GET to the sofa, I can't actually sit on it. I love it when you get that "falling in love all over again" feeling. My little family is so amazing and wonderful.So my boy was in a cast, then an orthopedic boot, for the better part of two months with his broken foot. Despite my being almost hitler-like in the food department with that boy, he gained weight with the inactivity. Noticeable amounts of weight, too.
He told me this morning that he wants to run like I do.
