I hurt. Everywhere.
I bought preemie-pansies this weekend and a LOT of mulch. Preemie because they are itty-bitty little things. The original plan was to plant pansies and mulch. I thought I bought 96 pansies, but it was 144. I, apparently, struggle with simple multiplication. And I probably still need about 60 - 80 more.
I have four large holly bushes on one side of my house that were looking very overgrown and out of control. I like the natural look to my bushes, and brie...

Vacation! Yep. Off today and Monday. Ran lots of errands with my sweet Prince Charming today. It was nice to spend all day together.
Also got to go outside and catch some sun to reduce the florescent glare that I omit. One of the neighbors had their blinds open on their window that overlooks my backyard...but it's MY yard and not my problem if they look into it. 
It felt good to be outside with the sun beaming happily on my skin. It was an hour of Cindy time.

No vacation for me today. Big, important project didn't get finished = No vacation for Cindy
I was hopeful that I could get it done in under 4 hours today, but something else came up, so we shall see...I'm bummed. My consolation prize was that I could take just tomorrow off and have a three day weekend...which I declined. My boss is planning a TWO DAY (Friday and Saturday) corporate team meeting and holiday party/dinner thing in December. We are supposed to bring our spouse, but not the children. I am the only one in the company with small children at home, still. I advised our admin that I would not be attending the party/dinner aspect and would depart after the meetings.So, I get the call from the boss wondering why I would not be attending the party.

It's cold here this morning. Brrr. Good thing I took the boy shopping over the weekend! He woulda been chilly with no warm clothes that fit.Speaking of the boy...have you ever just looked at your kid and thought "oh my GOD that boy is growing up fast!!!" I looked at him last night during dinner and he just looks so grown up..
He is about 5'1 and around 130 lbs...and only 10.5 years old. His little boy body is starting to turn into a little man body.
