So I have gained just shy of 8 pounds in two weeks, eating the CK recommended calories of ~ 2300 (average) per day.
I'm happy it is Friday. That is about all the positive/good/not evil things I have to share right now.

1.) The boy got his cast taken off his leg today--albeit almost a week early. He's been complaining of pain for about a week, or so, inside at the heel and the inner foot, etc. ...

There's something goin' on with me and chicken this week.
I just can't get enough.I didn't start the day with an insane amount of chicken, but it sure ended that way. Approx. 6 oz at dinner and 6 oz later for "snack."
I haven't gone back to update the food diary for yesterday, but I need to get after that. I'm not the binge-eating type, but you sure wouldn't know it by the quantity of chicken I've eaten this week. You'd think I was going through some sort of growth s...

Yesterday was a complete bust in the food department. How could it not be when you start out your day consuming half of a chicken, right? Still can't believe I did that. And, not only that, but I wasn't the least bit "full" afterwards, either. I cannot stand the feeling of a full stomach, anymore (it literally makes me sick), so the fact that I could eat all that, and not feel like I had eaten anything, is just insane. Is it seriously the middle of October, already?
Still working with the worst client today. I am having a very difficult time staying motivated to finish what I am supposed to be doing. It is very important work to this organization, but it is so hard for me to care. They took my hubby's birthday dinner away from him yesterday. How does that saying go...lack of planning (or intelligence or common sense) on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part. Yeah, sumthin' like that...

Wow, what a day. The boss and I kissed and made up during a conference call this afternoon with the worst client. We didn't finish working until 6:30 this evening. I started at 7 this morning and didn't take a lunch.
So today is Prince Charming's birthday and all the plans have gone down the crapp...
