Hubby and I had Friday night together without the boy. We didn't do anything really remarkable. Since I am leaving for Austin today, we just ran a lot of errands--and had ice cream together. Nevertheless, it reminded me of why I adore him so much. I really needed that. This morning we just cuddled in bed, without saying a word to each other.
We don't need words--just each other. A friend of mine from San Antonio called me up yesterday and told me that he was going to be in Austin...

What an absolutely insane two days!Things are still a little awkward at home. I am leaving on Sunday for Austin and will not be home until Thursday. That is going to be a very crazy trip! I will come home completely spent...intellectually and physically.
I uploaded a picture I took of myself in one of my very expensive new outfits. I like it. It's about as conservative as I am capable of dressing. I may upload another one tomorrow. Or maybe now...

I went shopping yesterday. I just really didn't want to be home. It was very painful. Three miserable hours of going through racks and racks and racks of clothes and trying on so many different things...Wish I was a guy and could get away with kaki's and polo shirts. And, now I have to try and find shoes for my big ol' feet that look good with this crap. Ugh.I've been wanting a table saw for a while now but could never justify the expense. So, I spent just as much money on ONE skirt ...

My husband is home. And that is all I think/feel about that at this time.
I made it to the gym for the first time in two weeks because I had that awful cold and then we were gone. It felt great to run again. I need to start lifting weights too, though. Focus on my back and shoulders. My posture is beginning to suck, again, and my upper back hurts a little from the sucky posture.

What a trip! The boy and I had a fantastic time together. Non-stop action. Fun. Fun. Fun.Today is a busy day at work and then I have household duties to tend to since we've been gone since early Wednesday morning. We didn't get home until 9:00 last night and there is so much to do.
