This is one of my favorite pictures of my little princess...so far. She's always that peaceful after nursing.

I hate the dumb@sses that manufacture bras. It appears as though women who have ta ta's larger than a 40D do not nurse their babies. Either that or they walk around braless. :bang: Trying to find a nursing bra (that does NOT look like some sort of medieval torture device) for someone of my, um, build is next to impossible. 5 days old today! This is what I call the "milk coma" --->

We took the baby out for a walk in her stroller yesterday since it was really nice out. That was also the first thing resembling exercise I have done since around May, I think, because of all the bed rest and problems with plantar fasciitis in my foot. Wow, what a totally crazy and unexpected labor! The good stuff: Leah Nicole Lawlor was born at 7:20 pm on Friday weighing 8 lbs. 10 oz., 21 in. long and 14 in. head. :inlove1: And here is a picture from today (more will follow later,of course). --->

I've *got* to get my head "in the game!" I told Prince Charming this morning that I hope the induction attempt fails tomorrow. After all, I technically have until Tuesday until I reach that post-mature status. I believe that the mind is a powerful thing and I really need to get that whole mind-body-universe connection thingy going before 9:30 tomorrow morning!!! :cross2: I haven't done any real, focused meditation for a while but I think it would be a good idea to spend some quiet time to...

So it seems like I was a little premature in my excitement yesterday over not having to worry about induction. :sad2: It seems that no matter how healthy mom and baby are, delivering a post-mature baby at a birth center with a midwife is prohibited by state laws. :cry4: My midwife explained that my two choices were to consider their version of an induction at the end of the week, or be forced to deliver in a hospital and my care will have to be transferred to an obstetrician, who will immediately insist ...
