Excellent, wonderful and happy news at my ultrasound this afternoon!

Baby is doing excellent, the placenta still looks perfect and there is still LOTS of amniotic fluid in there to support her!!! Average fluid for this stage of pregnancy is 11 and mine was 18 (93rd percentile)...woohoo. Yay, no need to induce, or even to think about it.

It's bronchitis!

In lieu of a baby, I get antibiotics and Mucinex.

You know, it'd be just my luck (although I don't really believe in luck) that I'd go into labor feeling this, um, wonderful! I went in to the birth center today and the midwife told me that I can't go into labor for a couple of days.

Like I have ANY control over that one! So for the first time in over a month, I am hoping like hell that I DON'T go into labor over the next 48 hours, or so. Ugh!!! 42 weeks, here I come! ...

I'm coming to accept the fact that I am going to be pregnant forever. I've gone into denial and am now telling everyone who asks about the baby that it was all a prank and I just drank way too damn much beer over the last nine plus months. This is one hell of a beer belly I am sporting. I know many men who would be jealous!

My Dad told me that I ought to start doing some crunches and look into going to AA.
I just have to keep my sense of humor about it all and I'll make it through. Asid...

All I gotta say today is that I would love to kiss every single one of the voters who voted last night in the state of Massachusetts.
Still pregnant. But, the last few days have been interesting, to say the least. My body temperature went back down to normal--and I am incredibly happy about that. I've been sooooo hot for about 9 months. The heartburn/food/digestive problems are gone. I've been suffering from that since shortly after becoming pregnant. But, most amusing, is that the girls have SHRUNK!!! Like two cup sizes overnight!
