This is like standing at the deep end of the pool for the first time. There's only one way to do this an it's by diving in.
I've been using the "freebie" nutrition/exercise thing and I realized if I were really committed to getting into shape... well, I needed to kinda suck it up and do it. So on my list of major accomplishments today...
1) Paid for all the membership stuff
2) I got a workout partner (ok, a couple) from the PD and they didn't even laugh at me on the weights!!!!
3) I got out the "much smaller than my tush is now" jeans and have set them out for some motivation.
My food diary is a little weird too, since I work mids. Breakfast is sometimes between 12am and 2am, snack is anywhere from 2am - 4am and "lunch" is usually between 4am and 6am. Dinner and evening snacks end up somewhere from 3pm - 11pm. That's the hardest thing is trying to keep eating level and quasi normal...whatever that is.
I am really hoping my husband will join me in this endeavour.... we'll see how that goes.

Welcome to CK, Celeste, and congrats on the courage to make the dive. Forgive me for mixing metaphors here, but just remember that the journey of a thousand miles begins with ONE STEP.
