Ok... there's something to having a police field training officer as your workout coach. OMG!!!!!
I mean, I know I brought this upon myself, but I felt like a dweeb at the gym... especially in the weight room. I am just soooooo outta shape. Anyway, I am done whining now.
He told me that we're working more core muscles later on today... more details later on my survival. :)

It's later: 1748
I am alive. I realized without a doubt that I have no upper body strength. I felt like a weany. However, I also know that this will change. And as soon as I can move my arms above my head again, life will be good.

I'm also trying to figure out all of the ins and outs to the food thing. Since my schedule is so wacky, it's hard. Especially when ur craving a snickers bar in the middle of the night. Anyway, this is it for now...

Tough is a good word for it. But he's a great guy and pushes me when I need pushing. A couple of the other officers have come in while we're working out and have been really sweet - not making fun of me (at least yet.) Just waiting til I do something stupid, I suppose. :D

The helping people - that's why I do what I do. I can't imagine doing anything else... I did for years and then last year, I made some really radical changes and the job was part of it.

Your job... yes, you help people. How can we do what we do without computer software anymore??? Annoyance - think they'd be more annoyed if running slower computers than the software :)

Wow! I'll bet that working out with a police field training officer is tough. At least you know you are doing the right things in your workout. Sometimes I wonder if I am doing the right exercises, etc. I also have no upper body strength. I have used free weights with a DVD in the past and I am now using weight machines. I hope to improve my upper body strength. Your job is so important. It must be neat to know that you make a difference every day. I write software and sometimes I wonder if I just annoy people or if I really help anyone! At least, I make a living. :)
