I love meatloaf and yesterday I had some. . . . more than some, I had a lot. It was yummy, but now I have to work at getting the meatloaf off. I am up 1.5 pounds from yesterday. My hands are swollen, so maybe half a pound is water weight. My sugars were up this morning too. . . 130. So, today, I will eat my yogurt and cheese for breakfast, clementines for a snack, and talipia for lunch, and a grilled chicken breast, salad, and greenbeans for dinner.Wednesday, November 29th 2006
When you start to lose weight, it is so easy to be motivated. . . you want to keep exercising and chosing the right kinds of food. Today, I woke up and was happy to shovel the driveway because I knew that would burn calories. I remembered to grab my yogurt and snacks for the day. And when I stepped on the scale this morning, I can see that my weight is coming off. When I get dressed, the clothes are fitting better. Positive, positive, positive reinforcement.Tuesday, November 28th 2006
I'm feeling better about myself today. Yesterday, I ate well and exercised. This morning, I remembered to grab my yogurt and snacks. If I just take it one day at a time, I have a good chance of losing this weight and being healthy.Monday, November 27th 2006
Well, I've gained 3 pounds over this holiday. Not what I was hoping for, but it is not as bad as I thought it would be. Now the count down begins for the next holiday. I think some of the 3 pounds may be water weight. . . my hands are swollen. Hopefully, the weight will come off and more will come off before the next holiday.Wednesday, November 22nd 2006
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I have so much to be thankful for. My marriage is good, the kids are healthy and live near by, my career is good. And even though I'm overwieght, I can be thankful that I had a lot of fun getting there. The next 4 days ahead will be hard, but I'm going to keep reminding myself that on Monday, I'll be weighing in. I'm going to focus on family and not food. I'm going to focus on having fun (like going bowling or letting the dog take me for a walk).
