Monday, Mar 19 2007 - Feeling the Pain

What a weekend. We moved my son's furniture down to the basement and the office in the basement up to his room. Two flights of stairs. Up and Down. Heavy furniture. I ache all over. My arms, legs, and back.
Today, I'm very tired.
And, to make matters worse. I ate like there was no tomorrow over the weekend. Everyone wanted to meet me somewhere for some kind of meal and visit with me. On Friday, I had a corporate meeting where there was a lot of food in the morning. Then my husband and daughter wanted to meet me for lunch at a BBQ place, then my best friend needed a friend, so we went to McDonald. Then, for dinner, my husband grilled some steaks, followed by going to the movies and eating popcorn, then after the movies, we went for Sushi and a beer. On Saturday, I skipped breaksfast and ate lunch with my husband at Famous Daves. I thought, just order a salad. I did and thought ok, you can behave this weekend. But then we went over to my in laws and we went out to eat at Applebee's and I had the fiesta chicken combo that comes with the quesodilla appetizer and blonde for dessert. On Sunday, it was out for breakfast, to the movies with popcorn and then a big dinner. My husband grilled steaks, I made pilaf, sliced up some cucumbers, cooked some greenbeans, washed the grapes, and sliced up strawberries. Too much food!
I stepped on the scale this morning and it was no surprise. I know tomorrow's weight will not be much better. I am having dinner with another friend at Red Lobster. BUT. . . before I go, I'm going to look at the food data base at CK to see what to eat, instead of just ordering whatever, then entering it in my food diary.
If I wasn't so sore, I would leave work early and walk on the treadmill at the gym before dinner. But, I need some caffiene. I am slowly fading away. The only thing that is keeping me awake is that it is cold in my office (or I feel cold).
I think I'll walk down to the snack shop and get a large ice tea.

I'd like to blame all of my eating on the weather.
=D Okay now spring is coming and so is summer, let's buckle down and get into better shape!
