Last night we went to Olive Garden. I was going to order the Chicken Giardino, but they have this new dish. . . Venetian Apricot Chicken. There is no pasta in this dish. The dinner size came with 2 3 oz chicken breast (at least that was my guess) with an apricot glaze. There was apasagus with tomatoes and basil - yum! and broccoli. The salad came with the dressing on the side. If it weren't for those darn bread sticks, I would be able to say that I did very well, but I did have those soft,...

You make a plan and. . .

Ok, so I made a plan. 3 things to do. . .

The exercise thing hasn't happened. :n: I've been sick (some sort of congestion) and when I went to the doctor's yesterday, my blood pressure was up, my temp was up and my sugars were up. So the exercise thing hasn't happened.

Eating out less. . . that hasn't happened either :n:. On Monday and Tuesday, I went out to lunch with friends. But I did make some good choices, except for the clam chowder on Monday. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, ...

My Plan

Yesterday, I mapped out my plan. Three things to follow this week. The bad news is that yesterday, I ate out twice :bang:, but the good news is that is was pretty good with my selections :y: The only thing I could have done better with my selections would have been to have had a salad instead of the clam chowder soup.

The other bad news :n:, I was going to work out. But between ordering the window treatments, getting the carpets clean, helping my son find his old cell phone number, and going fu...

Gained, but still motivated.

I've gained, but I'm still motivated in doing this. I exercised and ate within my target calories. Was there room for improvement, you bet. I could have made better choices. I did make some great choices. On Saturday, my husband and I took our nieces and nephews to McDonalds. I ordered the Southwest salad :thumbu2: and a medium fry :bang:. And yesterday, I should have ordered the chicken instead of the burger.

So, I'm posting a few things to remind myself of what I need to do this week.

I did it my way!

Last night I came home. I made tuna fish sandwiches, carrot sticks, and mango. Served dinner, ate dinner and then worked out. It was great. I felt good working out. I felt good after I worked out. I was not hungry the entire evening. My husband wanted a Big Mac. I actually went out and got him a Big Mac, large fry and a coke. I did not have one fry, or sip of coke or bite of the Big Mac. I'm so proud of myself.

Tonight, I plan in repeating this exercise pattern. I'll make Kookab...
