I read my last blog entry. . . the lilacs were blooming. Now the buttercup day lilies are blooming and my pansies are ready for some shade. Time has passed. Summer is almost here and I am no where near fitting into any kind of swim suit. Normally that wouldn't bother me, but my 25th wedding anniversary is coming up on the 26th of this month. I was hoping my hubby and I could get away to celebrate. I suggested an Alaskan Cruise, but he's not in the travel mood. So. . . it will either be Las Vegas to see LOVE or maybe Mexico.
Either way, this week I'm serious about losing weight. My HgAc1 came back. . .7.0. It is steadily creeping up. I went from 6.9 to 6.5 and now I'm 7. My sugars aren't doing as well either. I had much better control of everything, blood sugars, cholesterol, and blood pressure, when I was exercising on a regular basis. I need to get back in the swing of things. Tonight, I'm making tuna fish sandwiches, sliced mangos and some cucumber sticks for dinner. After dinner, I should go work out. Hopefully I will. It's making the committment and sticking to it.
Baby steps. . . I need to start over and take baby steps. . . 30 minutes of exercise 3 times a week. That's how I started out last year and I did really well. I just need to start over. . . AGAIN.
