Monday, Jun 18 2007 - Gained, but still motivated.

I've gained, but I'm still motivated in doing this. I exercised and ate within my target calories. Was there room for improvement, you bet. I could have made better choices. I did make some great choices. On Saturday, my husband and I took our nieces and nephews to McDonalds. I ordered the Southwest salad :thumbu2: and a medium fry :bang:. And yesterday, I should have ordered the chicken instead of the burger.

So, I'm posting a few things to remind myself of what I need to do this week.

1. Eat out less. I have a lunch today with the work group, I'm going over to friends for dinner on Tuesday, Thursday my brother-in-law is coming home from Alaska and we're eating at Olive Garden. That's three meals. So now that I'm typing this, I need to be very careful about what I order at two of them and really remember portion control at my friend's home.

2. Exercise. I am committing to 3 days this week (like last week). 30 minutes of cardio.

3. Plan and prepare snacks. I've brought my sliced up apples.

Even though I've gained some weight back, I'm not discouraged. I know I can do this. I feel really good about doing this. I will do this. :teeth1:
