Ok, so I made a plan. 3 things to do. . .
The exercise thing hasn't happened.

I've been sick (some sort of congestion) and when I went to the doctor's yesterday, my blood pressure was up, my temp was up and my sugars were up. So the exercise thing hasn't happened.
Eating out less. . . that hasn't happened either

. On Monday and Tuesday, I went out to lunch with friends. But I did make some good choices, except for the clam chowder on Monday. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I went out for dinner. . . but all good choices. Tonight and tomorrow night, we have plans with friends to go out. The only good thing about this eating out is that I have made good choices. And I can be thankful that I have a lot of friends and family to enjoy.
Snacks. . . I've brought 2 snacks this week. Yesterday and today, I have not brought a snack. But the good news is, I haven't eaten any bad snacks or any of my other bad behaviors when it comes to snacking.
Even though I haven't been able to workout because I've been sick, and I'm eating our more than I should. . . the good news is that I've lost a pound

. My attitude is still positive. I still want to work out (I just would like to be able to breath and not cough).
Next week, it will be a real challenge. My hubby and I will be in Las Vegas, celebrating our 25th anniversary. All those buffets

I am going to take my pedometer so that I can at least make sure I get enough walking in through those casinos to make up for whatever I might do. I remember one time I as in Las Vegas and the walk from the car, through the mall, into the casino, to the hotel and my room. . . I did that several times a day and scored an easy 25,000 steps!
So, I'll need to try to get some exercise in soon to at least try to make my plan a success. And, I'll need to continue to make wise choices when eating out. I think it may be ok for me not to bring a snack to work and just not snack because I'm eating out so much.
So the plan is now, try to exercise and make a plan for all of the temptations that I will face next week.
