View CWCEBMEY's food & exercise for this day

Last night, my family and I went up to the mountains for a picnic. We went up to Millcreek to check out picnic spots for the family July's Birthday party this Sunday. It was about 10-20 degrees cooler (and it was 100+ in the city). I think we've found place and I've got a meal plan.

It was really nice to spend time with the kids, talking, walking, etc. We took the dog so she had a good time too. I think Sunday's celebration will be nice.

My legs hurt from yesterday's walk. The road up the hill was very, very, steep. The incline was probably about 70 degrees.

Today has been an "ok" day. Not too many problems at work to solve. I haven't had much of an appetite, which is fine. I've been eating, but not overly concerned with eating enough so that I feel full. I was so absorbed in my work, that it wasn't until 1:00 that I noticed it was time for lunch. And I wasn't hungry, but knew I should eat.

Now, it's almost 3:00 and I still have not figured out what I'm going to make for dinner. The rest of this week it supposed to be in the 100's, so something that won't heat up the kitchen and is cool. . . maybe a spinach salad. . . Maybe tunafish salad. . . Maybe I'll check out some recipes and see if anything says "yum"

I'll bet it's just beautiful there... Funny you should mention string cheese, I usually eat it daily, but didn't get it last time I did a CostCo run. I had some cottage cheese today, which combined with fish for dinner should do me right! Salads are always good when it's too hot to cook. :)
