Last night, we had a really big thunderstorm. It was quite exciting to turn off the lights and watch. The rain really came down hard. The sky was lighting up every few seconds. And some of the thunder. . . you could feel it.

Today's high is going to be 92. We will probably have another thunderstorm this afternoon or evening and I'm hoping it's going to be another good one. Those thunderstorms can cool us off and that's a good thing.

The evening news reported some houses flooding and some streets flooding. The anchorman who was covering the story found a man who had built a moat around his house about 6 months ago. The man said, "I got a lot of laughs from the neighbors when I was building this moat, but who's laughing now!"
